-MB&F is a creative laboratory developing three-dimensional high-end timepieces with collaborations of horological artisans and artists. Founded by Maximilian Büsser, the brand is based in Geneva, Switzerland. MB&F presented its first watch, Horological Machine No.1 in 2006 and has followed that up by presenting a new Horological Machine each year.
Founder Maximilian Büsser graduated with a masters degree in micro-technology engineering. Maximilian Büsser’s first employer was Jaeger-LeCoultre where he spent seven years in their senior management team.
Büsser was appointed managing director of Harry Winston Rare Timepieces in 1998. Whilst working on the revolutionary Opus series timepiece, he was inspired to develop the concept further.
In 2005 Büsser resigned from Harry Winston to form MB&F, with the ethos of acknowledging the contribution of the individuals who contributed to each project.

Sequential One is a masterpiece based on a combination of elements rotating on 3-dimensional axes. The bespoke mechanical calibre and beautiful balance assembly can be seen through the pure sapphire crystal on the watch back . All bridges have been finished in traditional Côtes de Genève decoration.
Sequential One is manufactured from 550 individual parts. The case alone has 41 parts. It has 81 rubies and even the minute hand is made of 18 carat gold. Each timepiece features an exclusive MCT hand-wound mechanical movement.
There are 471 pieces in this ingenious mechanical hand-winding movement. A sophisticated anchor clutch is included, which prevents over-winding. It takes one hour of energy accumulation to power a single 90° rotation of the Minutes disk. Sequential One has a power reserve of 40 Hours when fully wound.
Sequential One has oversized, sequential hours and minutes, 20 visible prisms and a rotating, jumping dial, delicately crafted from sapphire. The hour is presented on a series of 5 triangular prisms in each quadrant, in turn. Minutes are indicated by the 18 carat Minute hand. When the minute hand reaches 60, the delicate sapphire crystal Minute dial rotates anti-clockwise 90°, to reveal the next hour. Without moving, the Minute hand is now automatically reset at 0 minutes.
MANUFACTURE CONTEMPORAINE DU TEMP- Denis Giguet was previously with Rolex and head of production with Harry Winston. In 2007, Denis began work on Sequential One. His MCT team is based in Geneva and Neuchatel. The watchmaker Jerome Marcu has always had passion for horology. It was at Harry Winston Watches that Denis and Jerome first met. Eric Giroud is responsible for the stunning architectural design of MCT Sequential 1. Only 300 pieces are produced a year.

-Hautlence Watch Company was founded in Switzerland by five watch enthusiasts, in 2001. HAUTLENCE came into being on the initiative of Renaud de Retz, Guillaume Tetu, with Jean Plazenet, Jean- Christophe Chopin and Alain de Forges. Fed up with the vacuum of innovation that plagued the watch industry, de Retz and his friend, COO, Guillaume Tetu, poured their aggravation into a series of sketches. It started as a hobby, said de Retz. We began to do some drawings of what we would like to see in a watch. After two years we had all these on the table and we said, Well, there is a link between these drawings and all of these movements. It could be a brand.
