Richmondites say farewell to the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games with a spectacular fireworks display at 9:00 p.m. PST at the Richmond O Zone celebration site in Minoru Park on Feb. 28, 2010. Thousands of people gathered at the O Zone in Richmond, BC, Canada to watch the Men’s Gold Medal Hockey game (Team Canada beat Team USA 3-2 in OT) and the Closing Ceremony live on the big screen and say goodbye to the XXI Winter Games.
Worst closing … Worst closing ceremony is Olympic history!!!!!!! It was so boring and extremely disorganized. Painful to watch. Most of those “Canadian” hosts and hostess no longer live in Canada and haven’t for a long time … most of them live in the US and are US citizens!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah that hockey crazy was a bit much to put up with… especially for an American who had no clue the animosity you people harbo(u)r towards us. (And you do)
But… I loved this last couple weeks so much, and I love Vancouver and will be returning as soon as I can. I can’t tell you how good it felt to be there
I read something … I read something about a band called Inward Eye that lead that chant/song of “oh oh oh, Vancouver.” I really want to find that song but can’t find it anywhere either!

The licence holders are strongly ‘upholding’ their Copyright, l agree it’s a shame, now that’s it’s over, be great to see all that curling l missed out on. “Kevin, the legend of curling from Canada, what a genius”. But l didn’t see any handball, shame.

This is even better … This is even better than the ones that I saw last night on TV. NBC showed the fireworks from the stadium during the closing ceremony, but WTF??? No fireworks from the other side. What a bummer! NBC needs to shut up about this interrupting and all of this crap! It’s over! Get over it! Wait until 2012 when it comes to London.
I wish there were … I wish there were more closing ceremony vids, I loved the Neil Diamond closing song, wish i could find a vid of that. Truelly and end to an epic event.
