Nonsense. Most places in Japan still use the much more efficient and simple floor toilet. Defecating in a seated position is actually not very healthy, and is linked to increased chances of bowel and colon cancers. These stupid gadget toilets are only used by rich wankers. There is also reason to believe that european toilets cause faster muscle and bone deterioration as you get older. Floor toilets are healthier and simpler, and have different flushes for urine and feces.
